Refund policy

This policy governs the cancellation and refund of all courses, workshops and private lessons booked with Grace’s Sewing Studio CIC, trading as London Sewing Courses (londonsewingcourses.co.uk).

Cancellation deadlines and refunds

You are eligible for a full refund if you give written notice of cancellation at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time of the lesson, workshop or course.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time. This is because of the material preparation, tutor scheduling and overhead costs of holding a space in our classes.

This policy is strictly applied. It includes non-attendance, failure to complete an online course, or late arrivals that result in a missed session.

How to request a cancellation

All cancellation requests must be made in writing to be valid. A written request gives us an accurate time stamp for calculating the 48-hour deadline.

Send your cancellation request by email directly to grace@londonsewingcourses.co.uk. Your email must clearly include these details, so we can find your booking promptly:

• the customer name the booking was made under;
• the course or lesson name and type, for example Beginners Sewing Course or 1-on-1 Lesson;
• the date and scheduled start time of the session you wish to cancel;
• your order confirmation number, if available.

The 48-hour eligibility calculation is based on the official time and date we receive your cancellation email. We aim to reply to confirm your cancellation, and to process any eligible refund, within 48 hours of receiving your request.

Rescheduling and transfers

A refund is not guaranteed for cancellations within 48 hours. We may, at our sole discretion, offer the option to reschedule your booking to a future date, subject to class availability. A fee may apply for last-minute rescheduling requests.

You may transfer your booking to another person at no extra charge, provided you tell us by email before the class start time and include the new participant’s name and contact information.

If we cancel

In the rare event that London Sewing Courses must cancel a scheduled lesson, workshop or course, for example because of tutor illness, unforeseen maintenance or minimum enrolment not being met, all affected customers will be offered a choice between:

• a full refund of the course fee paid; or
• the option to reschedule to the next available date.
